a brief but thorough list of the good stuff. a great place to window shop if you're new to the brew.

10. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

not the only pale ale out there, but this one is a top-notch addition to any well-rounded beer excursion.

this is a funny way of saying wheat beer. it's not pronounced "heferwiezen" because it's not made from cows. a lot of good companys make a solid hefe, recommended with a slice of lemon.

8. Bohemia

a perhaps lesser known but nonetheless solid mexican brew.

7. Corona

not a particularly amazing beer but it goes down nice on a hot day and will take your carne asada over the top. and let's face it the swimming lime trick is just good clean fun. also corona comes with a free private beach. break out the jarocho and raquinto compa.

a meal in itself really. a pint of this will take me right on back to me rewts laddy.

my favorite all-around daily drinker. i often find it for 50 cents a bottle.

this is my favorite microbrew. i could seriously drink this for a meal. the fact that it's named after brunettes is an extra bonus.

an english amber ale. this one frequently gets me to hand over my keys and indulge. absolutely amazing on tap.

my favorite American brew. riding the ass of bass for my all time fav. it can be a litte tough to find but it's worth the trouble.

1. Bass Ale

it's the gatorade of beer. it's the big unstoppable. napolean raved about it. anything that's good enough for a short french dude has my vote.
