colorado road trip 2004

it all started with me driving to vegas solo. i lost
60 bucks here at stateline on the way in. kill bill volume 3.

my deluxe accomodations in henderson. it's right next
to a pool and my dad's house.

me and pops right before we head out for colorado.

our first hotel room in utah. utah is a big kinda
boring state. i slept ok but me and pops had some bad gas.

even rural colorado has graffiti. nice fall foliage too.

an old mercury on my uncle's farm. it's been in the family since
it was new.

chow time childrens.

colorado sunset.

classic t-bird.

pops and uncle jim shooting the shit.

they don't come any cooler than uncle j.

later that night i happened by a halloween party at a local bar.
here's some nice colorado hunnies. as it turns out the dame on the
left was born in the same hospital as me. go figure.

the natives in colorado can appear intimidating, but really are
quite cooperative when given alcohol.

a storm brewing the next morning. cool clouds but little did we
know.

muh first snowfall childrens. that shit's cold.

a nice view.

what do you call two irishmen freezing their asses
off?

those are big rocks or something.

there's a river way down there.

pops got nailed by a huge snowball.

offroad shoes only childrens.

three dear in a campground. i wonder if they get a discount rate.

this is about as close as i could get to this one.

ok time to go.

back down the hill here comes the snow.

i think this is someone's yard.

if the speed limit sign is frozen you may want to go even slower.

things settled down the next day.

ok kids we'll see you next time.

glow in the dark snow. i invented it.

snow covered dumbass.

the car was covered the next morning.

perfect weather for a bbq.

animal tracks. i think the lil ones are from a deer. i think the
other ones are from some kinda bigfoot creature with a website.

iced coffee.

the snow thins out on the way home but the scenery is still pretty
cool.

back in utah. that state rocks.

son of a bitch it's cold. who's the nun with the facial hair...?

the road back home. i traveled through five states that day.
